Brett Lindsey, Chief Executive Officer
Brett Lindsey, CEO, has grown Everstream from a 2,500-route-mile fiber network to more than 25,000 route miles of fiber. In 2018, Brett facilitated the sale of Everstream to AMP Capital, a global investment manager headquartered in London. With this investment, Everstream expanded its network into five new markets, including Chicago, Columbus, Indianapolis, Milwaukee and St. Louis, and closed strategic acquisitions in Detroit, Indianapolis and St. Louis. In 2016-2017, Brett more than tripled the size of the organization within less than 12 months with two Michigan-based acquisitions. Previously as Chief Operations Officer of OneCommunity, Brett oversaw the $100 million expansion of the network that became Everstream. Brett brings more than 25 years of experience in successful operations management and business development efforts for venture-backed organizations to the Fortune 500. He has extensive experience in the telecom industry, having served as President of Elantic Telecom and Chief Operations Officer of Vox Mobile. Brett also held management positions with City Signal Communications, Qwest Communications, XO Communications and Williams Communication Systems.
Bill Major, President
Bill Major, President, Everstream, is responsible for driving revenue growth while overseeing the Sales, Service Delivery and Customer Experience teams that deliver unmatched service to Everstream’s customers. Bill first joined the company in 2015 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and was promoted to Chief Revenue Officer in 2019. Under Bill’s leadership, Everstream has delivered more than $500 million in total contract value. Prior to joining Everstream, Bill was responsible for Enterprise Sales at Fibertech Networks (Lightower), with a territory that included Upstate New York, Indiana and market expansions in Ohio and Michigan. Throughout his more than 25-year career in telecommunications, sales and management, Bill has successfully held sales and operations leadership roles for several regional and national telecommunications companies.
Mike D’Angelo, Executive Vice President, Sales
Mike D’Angelo, Executive Vice President, Sales, is responsible for expanding and leading Everstream’s enterprise, wholesale/carrier and wireless sales efforts across all markets along with handling contract negotiations and day-to-day management. With more than 25 years of experience, Mike has served in sales, marketing and leadership positions and brings a deep understanding of the telecom industry along with an exceptional track record of strategic account management, sales implementation and behavioral management. Prior to joining Everstream, Mike served as Senior Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service, with GoNetspeed, where he was responsible for leading residential and enterprise sales, product development, marketing and customer satisfaction. He also has held senior leadership roles with CenturyLink (Level 3), Zayo Networks (American Fiber Systems), and Windstream (Choice One Communications).
Chuck Girt, Chief Technology Officer
As the Chief Technology Officer, Chuck Girt is responsible for the development, growth and management of the Everstream network infrastructure. Previously, Chuck served as Chief Technology Officer for OneCommunity, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming Northeast Ohio’s economy. He also has held engineering and technology positions throughout his career, including National Director of Engineering and Operations for Adelphia Commercial Services as well as Director of Midwest Operations and Core Developer for Northpoint DSL. Chuck holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics, a master’s degree in Quantum Physics and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, all from the University of California at Berkeley.
Greg Meinczinger, Executive Vice President, Operations
Greg Meinczinger, Executive Vice President, Operations, leads Everstream’s service delivery, field services and permitting organizations. Greg spent most of his nearly thirty-year career in telecom field services leading teams constructing fiber networks and installing customers. Greg joined Everstream in 2019 as Regional VP of Operations, where he played a key leadership role in the largest greenfield build year in Everstream history, with more than 10 million feet of new fiber network being constructed. Prior to joining Everstream, Greg held various operations leadership roles with CenturyLink and Level3 (now Lumen) and tw telecom, ultimately serving each organization as Director of Operations. Greg was also appointed to the Indiana 811 Board of Directors, a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting excavators and operators of underground utilities, where he served for ten years.
Sarah Mugford, Chief Marketing Officer
Sarah Mugford, Chief Marketing Officer, joined Everstream in 2019 and leads the company’s Marketing and Communications initiatives, including overall branding, content, communications, and messaging objectives both internally and externally. During her 14-year tenure with Charter Communications (formerly Time Warner Cable), Sarah held various marketing leadership roles, ultimately serving as Vice President, Content and Lead Generation Marketing, where she was responsible for the strategy and execution of Spectrum Enterprise client acquisition campaigns. Her broad range of experience includes enterprise lead generation, client experience as well as digital, product, content and vertical marketing. Sarah earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Kent State University.
