CLEVELAND – We are pleased to announce that Everstream is continuing its partnership with Group Plan Commission and will continue to provide free Wi-Fi for all Public Square guests. This amazing gift allows residents and visitors to stay connected to their networks when working, playing, and gathering in The Square.
More than two years ago, Everstream demonstrated its support with a significant commitment to bring an enhanced internet experience to The Square. The company installed fiber and activated internet service, which helps Group Plan Commission deliver on its mission to connect people to places. Everstream has agreed to continue the service for another two years.
“As a nonprofit organization, having this service provided at no cost to us allows us to provide a significant benefit to the community and put more of our assets into free programming for downtown residents and visitors to Public Square. We are especially pleased that free Wi-Fi is available during all park hours, making it an asset to families who may not have internet service at home. Kids can complete homework and study while parents who work remotely can maintain connectivity. We are so thankful for our partnership with Everstream,” said Sanaa Julien, CEO, Group Plan Commission.
Headquartered just blocks away in the Halle Building, Everstream welcomes the opportunity to support Public Square through this in-kind sponsorship and remains committed to helping downtown Cleveland thrive.
“Continuing to assist with Public Square’s Free Wi-Fi initiative is our chance to give back to a community we call home in a meaningful way,” said Everstream President and CEO Brett Lindsey. “We’re in a particularly challenging time right now and it’s our responsibility to help where we can.”
We encourage visitors using the free wifi service to visit clevelandpublicsquare.com for the latest park information, programming calendar, and updates as well as amenities offered in Public Square.
