CLEVELAND – Everstream, the business-only fiber network, today announced that it has completed the sale of the residential assets of Rocket Fiber LLC to Snip Internet LLC, a Cleveland-based internet service provider specializing in serving residential multi-dwelling units.
In April, Everstream acquired Rocket Fiber, a Detroit-based internet service provider, and has retained the company’s business assets, including the addition of 41 route miles to Everstream’s network and access to more than 5,000 businesses.
“Throughout this acquisition process, Everstream has remained committed to building on Rocket Fiber’s success in the Detroit market,” said Everstream President and CEO Brett Lindsey. “We’re confident that Snip Internet is well-suited to continue moving the company forward.”
Founded in 2016, Snip Internet’s customer base includes 6,500 units in 25 apartment buildings throughout Cleveland. In March, Snip Internet closed on $7.75 million Series B funding to enable its expansion into new markets.
