CLEVELAND – October 9, 2018 – Everstream, a super-regional network service provider bringing fiber-based Ethernet, internet and data center solutions to businesses throughout the Midwest, announced the appointment of Chris Morley to its Board of Directors, effective today.
Morley has extensive industry and leadership experience. He served as a member of the executive team of Zayo Group Holdings until 2017. During this time, Zayo grew to become the largest independent global communications infrastructure provider with assets in the United States, Canada and Western Europe.

While with Zayo, Morley held several leadership positions. As Chief Operating Officer, he had oversight responsibilities of Zayo’s three primary operating business units, including Dark Fiber Services, zColo (Data Center unit) and Transport Services.
He also served as President of several of the company’s operating business units, including Sales and Marketing, and as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Product Management for the Zayo Bandwidth business unit.
During Morley’s tenure, Zayo completed more than 40 acquisitions and raised in excess of $20 billion in capital. The company grew headcount from 100 employees to 4,000 and increased revenue from less than $100 million to $2.5 billion with $1.3 billion of EBITDA.
Prior to joining Zayo, Morley acted as an independent consultant advising operating companies and private equity investors on strategy, merger and acquisition due diligence, execution, and operational improvements.
Morley also has held management positions with One Communications Corp., serving as Chief Integration Officer and the Executive Vice President of Operations and Networks, and with Conversent Communications, serving as Executive Vice President of Operations and Engineering.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado.
