CLEVELAND – Everstream, the business-only fiber network, has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2020 honor by The Detroit Free Press — its first in the Michigan market. The annual list is determined solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by Energage, LLC, an employee engagement technology partner. The anonymous survey measures 15 drivers, including alignment, execution and connection, that are critical to the success of an organization’s culture.
Everstream has consistently invested in the Michigan market, completing three acquisitions in the past four years. Within less than 12 months, the company more than tripled in size with the acquisitions of Great Lakes Comnet (GLC)/Comlink in 2016 and Lynx Network Group in 2017 — making Michigan home to Everstream’s earliest expansion markets. With its April 2020 acquisition of Detroit-based Rocket Fiber, Everstream earned coverage in all major Michigan markets and rounded out an expansive fiber footprint in greater Detroit.

This unprecedented growth aligns with the company’s Midwest expansion efforts. Since Q3 2019, Everstream has opened five offices and completed two acquisitions.
