CLEVELAND – Everstream has earned its fifth Smart Culture Award from Smart Business Magazine, a publication that explores how a company’s culture can become the lynchpin to drive performance, transform an organization into an employer-of-choice and, ultimately, impact the bottom line. Everstream also was recognized in 2021, 2020, 2019 and 2017.
Everstream’s welcoming corporate culture of transparency and open communications is the cornerstone of the company’s founding principle: DWYSYWD, or Do What You Say You Will Do. Each employee is tasked with upholding this mantra to best serve the company’s customers.

Everstream delivers high-capacity fiber connectivity to metro and rural areas across a 10-state footprint in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic. The company increased its total route miles of fiber by 80% in 2021, growing to nearly 27,000 route miles.
In the five years since receiving its first Smart Culture recognition, Everstream has added over 300 employees – more than 600% growth. The company has also opened seven new office locations since 2017.
Amid this growth, Everstream deepened its commitment to fostering a corporate culture that transcends growing teams and office locations by offering virtual events, such as Trivia Tuesday as well as simultaneous events across office locations, such as blanket making for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Everstream is among 30 Northeast Ohio organizations recognized for the Smart Culture Award. Everstream customers Channel Products, Cleveland Clinic, Fund That Flip, Leaf Home, Medic Management Group and Turner Construction Co., as well as partner vendors Cleveland Metroparks and Vocon Design, were also recognized. The Smart Culture Awards ceremony takes place on Wednesday, April 6, at 5 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland.
