CLEVELAND – Everstream, the business-only fiber network, has been honored with a USA Top Workplace 2021 award by Energage, LLC, an employee engagement technology company. The national Top Workplaces list is determined solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by Energage. The anonymous survey measures employee feedback on 15 culture drivers proven to predict a high-performance organizational culture.
In addition to being named a Top Workplace, Everstream has received special recognition in two category awards: “Clued-In Leaders” and “Communication.”
“Throughout a challenging year, Everstream held strong to its corporate values and signature phrases, which truly resonate with our team,” said Everstream President and CEO Brett Lindsey. “From ‘Do what you say you will do’ to ‘Happy people. Happy customers,’ our employees embrace Everstream’s pull-no-punches approach: Collaborate, communicate and get the job done — it’s as simple as that.”
In 2020, Everstream increased its workforce by more than 50% through organic hiring and acquisitions. The company continues to add new employees in existing markets and in each of its new markets as it expands.
Notably, Everstream closed on two acquisitions in 2020, Rocket Fiber LLC in Detroit and LightBound in Indianapolis, and announced additional agreements with DISH and Uniti, including entering new major metro areas in Pennsylvania.
Everstream also has earned the Northeast Ohio Top Workplaces designation for five years running and was awarded a Top Workplaces 2020 honor by The Detroit Free Press. According to Energage, organizations with a minimum of 150 employees in the U.S. qualify for national-level recognition, including Top Workplaces USA, industry and culture excellence awards, in addition to participation in up to 51 high-profile regional programs.
